  • A drawing system based on separated visible and auxiliary geometry

    The paper considers a 2D constraint-based drawing system which distinguishes between a visible and an auxiliary geometry. The auxiliary geometry is fixed by geometric constraints and represents a ... framework on to which the geometric entities of visible geometry are mapped. In the continuation of the paper, the used constraint solver, which is needed to fix the position of the auxiliary geometry, is discussed. Then the work with prototype implementation of suggested approach is explained using an example from the world of fonts. It is shown that the users feel our system as an ordinary drawing system.
