Individuality of high quantity products achieved by incremental sheet metal forming technology [Elektronski vir]

Contemporary trends of individuality, artistic designing and expressing represent new challenges in the field of manufacturing sheet metal products. In order to follow mentioned trends, modern ...forming technology, called incremental sheet metal forming, has been applied as an additional technology in multilazer construction element production. Specialty of applied forming process reflects on demand to preserve all existing attributes of recently final products as fire safety, load capacity, corrosion resistance, colour, heat and sound isolation, simultaneous with perfect adaptability to requirements of design, forming speed and product repeatability. Forming without additional support on pre-lacquering surfaces is possible only with perfect knowledge of material properties and controlled kinematic and tribological conditions between forming tool and specimen. With excellent co-operation between science and industry real product has been introduced to world market, which offers competitive advantage for buyer, architect and investor.
