  • Sensitivity analysis of underground gas storage using adaptive network fuzzy inference system [Elektronski vir]
Jelušič, Primož ; Žlender, Bojan, 1957-
In this paper sensitivity analysis is done for underground gas storage. Design variables which have a significant impact on deformation of steel lining and safety factors have been determined. At ... present study design variables are inner gas pressure, cavern depths, cavern inner diameters and thickness of the concrete wall. Finite element model of underground gas storage with four lined rock caverns was constructed. After a series of finite element analyses, with different design values, the results were used to construct three adaptive network fuzzy inference systems (ANFIS). These models are able to predict deformation of steel lining and safety factors for any selected design data. Finally, the comparison was made between the calculated and predicted values. Design optimization consists initial design of structure, finite element analysis, sensitivity analysis and optimization methods. ANFIS model based on geometric modeling and finite element analysis can be further applied in optimization algorithms.
