Carbon - ekspertni sistem : opis in uporaba

Poročilo opisuje ekspertni sistem CARBON, ki pomaga pri reševanju problemov s področja C-13 NMR spektroskopije. Sistem ima vgrajeno ekspertno znanje o povezavi med strukturami in spektri, tabele ...različnih podatkov, matematične enačbe in procedure iz teorije grafov. Sistem črpa podatke iz zbirke asigniranih spektrov in tabel kemijskih premikov. Problemi, ki jih s sistemom lahko rešujemo in v mnogih primerih tudi uspešno rešimo, so naslednji: -iskanje enakih ali podobnih spektrov v zbirki, -iskanje enakih ali podobnih struktur v zbirki, -simulacija poljubnih spektrov, -napovedovanje struktur ali podstruktur, -določanje mest v strukturi, kjer se lahko pojavi konformacijska ali konfiguracijska izomerija in -določanje pozicij različnih substituent.
