Uklon nosilca v kanalu ima pomembno vlogo na različnih področjih, kot so naftna industrija, bioinformatika in medicina. Za pridobitev numeričnih rezultatov je uporabljena dvostopenjska minimizacijska ... shema, ki temelji na Viterbijevem algoritmu in metodi SLSQP, medtem ko je za eksperimentalne rezultate izdelana merilna postaja. V delu je izvedena primerjava med numeričnimi in eksperimentalnimi podatki, ki pokaže, da je razviti numerični model ustrezen za opis uklona tankega elastičnega nosilca v ravnem ozkem kanalu ob predpostavkah, da so stene kanala neskončno toge in da na stiku ni trenja.
