UV LED utrjevanje lesnih premazov = UV LED curable wood coatings [Elektronski vir]Šegedin, Urban ...V industriji premazov razvoj novih proizvodov poteka v smeri znižanja vsebnosti hlapnih organskih spojin (HOS). V ta namen se uporabljajo veziva na vodni osnovi, veziva in premazi z visoko vsebnostjo ... suhe snovi, praškasti premazi in lesni premazi, ki 100 % utrjujejo pod ultravijolično svetlobo (UV). Pri slednjih z uporabo reaktivnega topila dosegamo nizke aplikativne viskoznosti ter popolno utrjenost nanesenega mokrega filma po izpostavitvi UV svetlobi, kar omogoča aplikacijo premaza brez emisij HOS. Tehnološke spremembe pa se ne dogajajo samo na nivoju formuliranja premazov, ampak tudi na nivoju procesne opreme, ki jo uporabljamo pri utrjevanju. Klasična UV svetila tako lahko zamenjamo z na novo razvitimi UV LED (ang. Light Emitting Diode) svetili, ki imajo daljšo življenjsko dobo, konstanten iznos energije in omogočajo utrjevanje pri sobni temperaturi. To je zlasti pomembno pri uporabi temperaturno občutljivih substratov kot so borov les, papir in plastika. UV LED svetila omogočajo dobro globinska utrjevanje, utrjevanje na površini pa predstavlja problem, saj prihaja do kisikove inhibicije in s tem do slabšega utrjevanja površine. V preteklosti so omenjeni problem reševali z uporabo inertne atmosfere, ki predstavlja dodatne stroške pri postavitvi proizvodnje linije v lesni industriji. V predloženem delu smo uporabili utrjevanje lesnih premazov s pomočjo UV LED svetila pri normalni atmosferi. Izkazalo se je, da lahko s prilagoditvijo osnovnih formulacij zmanjšamo vpliv kisikove inhibicije in dosežemo boljše utrjevanje površine lesnih premazov.Type of material - conference contributionPublish date - 2011Language - slovenianCOBISS.SI-ID - 35901701
