Measuring and digitizing of free-form surfaces with data connections between CMMs and CAD/CAM systems

Digitalizacija površin prostih oblik predstavlja pomembno vejo tehnoloških meritev, torej moremo pričakovati intenziven razvoj matematičnih definicij obdelovancev z matematično neopisanimi ...površinami. Razvitih je mnogo sistemov za digitalizacijo in meritve, vendar so vsi osnovani na dva načina: kot merilni modul CAD sistema, ali kot neodvisni merilni sistemi. Slednji so zaradi svoje velike fleksibilnosti in kompatibilnosti z drugimi sistemi izredno zanimivi. Trenutni razvoj je usmerjen v podatkovne povezave med koordinatnimi merilnimi napravami in CAD sistemi. Za ta namen potrebujemo standardne vmesnike in primerne programske sisteme.
