Od ideje do mednarodnega uspeha [Elektronski vir] = From an idea to the international success

Na Kemijskem inštitutu smo pripravili vodotopno obliko CoQ10 s pomočjo sinteze inkluzijskega kompleksa ß-ciklodekstina in CoQ10. Substanco smo patentirali v Sloveniji. Kljub temu, da smo vložili več ...mednarodnih prijav smo v kasnejšem obdobju zaradi prevelikih stroškov ali premajhnega komercialnega interesa, nekatere prijave opustili. V letu 2009 pa smo pridobili ruski patent. Za svoj izdelek smo že v letu 2004 poiskali investicijsko družbo, ki je patent odkupila in ustanovila podjetje, ter pričela tržiti našo substanco. Na Inštitutu smo pripravili scale-up pilotne proizvodnje in ga prenesli v novo nastalo podjetje, ki sedaj posluje s številnimi partnerji v raznih evropskih državah.
