Svoboda duha ali svoboda telesa : primerjava Diderotove La Religieuse in de Sadovega dela Juliette Justine : diplomsko delo

Denis Diderot je s svojim delom La Religieuse upravičeno dokazal, da ga lahko postavimo v sam vrh francoskega razsvetljenstva. Njegova problematika, ki se pojavlja v romanu, je aktualna tudi v ...današnji dobi. Samostan kot cerkvena institucija se v La Religieuse kaže kot primarno zatočišče vprašanja homoseksualnosti, nasilja in zaprtosti. Medtem ko se Diderot temu približa bolj kompleksno in subtilno, pa Markiz de Sade v svojih delih to kaže zelo neposredno in nazorno. V delu Juliette Justine pisatelj razbija moralne predsodke in v ospredje postavlja svobodo telesa. S primerjavo Diderotovega dela La Religieuse in de Sadovega dela Juliette Justine sem se želela predvsem dotakniti vprašanja svobode oz. pomanjkanja le-te ter s tem povezanih literarnih vprašanj. Kdaj torej človek postane svoboden? Je pomembna samo svoboda duha ali tudi svoboda telesa?
