Morfologija oksidov na nerjavnem jeklu AISI 304 po kratkotrajnem žarjenju in njihova korozijska odpornost

Lastnosti površine nerjavnega jekla pomembno vplivajo na korozijske pojave in na zdržljivost materiala. Površina vzorcev jekla AISI 304, žarjenih 8 minut pri temperaturi 1060 [kompozitum]C, v treh ...različnih pečeh, je bila preiskana z vrstično elektronsko mikroskopijo (SEM), izvršena je bila EDS analiza površine in opravljeni so bili korozijski preskusi v 3,5 % raztopini NaCl. Prikazani so rezultati analiz. Izkazalo se je, da se morfologija površine oksida odraža tudi na obliki potenciodinamske krivulje pri preskusu elektrokorozije. Boljšo korozijsko odpornost je imel vzorec z drobno zrnato oksidno plastjo brez lusk. Prisotnost lusk v oksidu je poslabšala korozijsko odpornost preiskovanega nerjavnega jekla.
