Computations of dam-break waves in Slovenia [Elektronski vir]Četina, MatjažDams that were built to accumulate water for energy production, agriculture, water supply and other purposes are among most important and sophisticated engineering structures. Despite obeying high ... standards during their design andconstruction they represent a certain threat to villages and inhabitants living downstream. A state of the art review of dam-break wave and debris flowcomputations in Slovenia are given in the article.
