Teaching English through theatre = Poučevanje angleškega jezika z gledališko igro : diplomsko delo

Namen diplomske naloge je predstaviti prednosti poučevanja in učenja angleškega jezika z gledališko igro. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene prednosti uporabe vsebin, osnovanih na gledališki igri, ...kot so predstavljene v različnih virih. Prednosti vključujejo izboljšano samozavest, pridobivanje besedišča in jezikovnih vzorcev v avtentičnem kontekstu, izboljšana spontanost pri uporabi tujega jezika itd. Prav tako je obravnavana najprimernejša izbira učitelja za tovrstno poučevanje, pri čemer so predstavljene možnosti učitelja gledaliških vsebin s poznavanjem angleškega jezika v primerjavi z učiteljem angleškega jezika. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati ankete, izvedene v gledališki šoli TRY Theatre iz Rijeke. Temu sledi intervju z direktorjem in so-ustanoviteljem šole. V zaključku je vključena tudi obravnava uporabe vsebin na gledališki osnovi pri običajnem pouku tujega jezika in morebitnih posledic.
