  • Kožne spremembe pri bolnikih, okuženih s HIV = Skin manifestations in HIV infected patients
    Rogl-Butina, Mirjam ...
Cutaneous and mucosal manifestations develop in most patients infected with HIV They can occur already at the start as an acute HIV illness or later during developed HIV disease and aids. One can ... divide them into manifestationswhich are most probably directly related to HIV infection and those whose relationship with HIV has not been clarified yet. A third categoryincludes preexisting or coexisting dermatological conditions whose course and therapeuthic response are altered by HIV infection. Most common manifestations of progressive immunosuppression that accompanies HIV infectionare frequent and severe infections, mucocutaneous and/or systemic. They can be caused either by fungi, bacteria or viruses. A connection between HIV infection and incidence of various cutaneous malignancies is evident in some cases and somewhat blurred in others. Among many other mucucutaneous signs and symptoms we mention different pruritic papular and papulopustular eruptions and various drug reactions.
