Theoretical background: The urinary incontinence is the most common consequence of the laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and based on the majority of the authors, it is most commonly cured with the ...correct pelvis floor muscle training. Registered nurse is one of the most important factors for a patient to achieve a perfect urinary incontinence as soon as possible, because registered nurse has the knowledge to help when correctly training pelvis floor muscle after laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. With the help of the research we tried to find out if patients have the knowledge about the urinary incontinence, if they know how to correctly train pelvis floor muscle and if they were informed about pelvis floor muscle training during hospitalization or before they go home. Method: A quantitative method was used. A questionnaire with statements was formulated for the purpose of collecting primary data. Secondary data were obtained on the basis of analysing the relevant literature. Resource search was carried out by using the electronic databases: Cobbis, Web of science, Science Direct and Springerlink. Results: The patients who underwent laparoscopic prostatectomy have the knowledge about urinary incontinence, know how to correctly train the pelvis floor muscle fairly well and were informed about it during hospitalization or before they go home. Discussion: In the field of teaching the patients about pelvis floor muscle training after the laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, it is necessary to continue with the successful teaching the patients, as it turned out that they know how to correctly train the pelvis floor muscle fairly well with the help of the registered nurse and other members of nursing team, patients also have knowledge about urinary incontinence and therefore manage to get back a perfect urinary continence quicker.
