    Scuba divers use buoyancy vest for ascending and descending in the water. The problem of buoyancy control in sport and professional divers is complex. Diver's buoyancy is influenced by many ... parameters that are interdependent and have a nonlinear character. Most divers master buoyancy control by correct breathing and inflating/deflating buoyancy vest. However, there are factors that cause trouble to experienced divers. Background of research is development of device for buoyancy control for sport and professional divers. Its purpose is to improve safety, raise the level of comfort and increase productivity of divers. The device will also permit a controlled dive with a preset speed of descent and raising and maintaining the set speed. Presented paper shows simulated model of scuba diver with its buoyancy vest and how is buoyancy force depended.
